Marie Shepherd, CPA

Partner

Marie brings decades of experience in tax, accounting, and auditing services, working with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, nonprofits, manufacturers, real estate investors and developers, service providers, and retailers. Her specialty areas include condominium associations and computer consulting, and she has also overseen firm quality control and continuing education initiatives throughout her career.

Marie joined The Innovative CPA Group in 2025 through the merger of Cerrone, Graham & Shepherd, PC, where she had previously served as a partner for 13 years. She is currently based in our Massachusetts office.

A graduate of Nichols College, Marie received the Outstanding Alumna Award in 2009 in recognition of her professional achievements and community involvement. She remains active in the profession and community through organizations including the AICPA, MSCPA, and the Worcester Area Chamber of Commerce.

Outside of work, Marie enjoys spending time with her husband James and their two sons, Alex and Max. Whenever possible, she enjoys returning to Maine, where she spent part of her childhood, to relax and unwind.
