Patrik Kovac, CPA
Assurance Director
Patrik Kovac is the Director of Audit with more than 15 years of public accounting experience serving privately held businesses across a variety of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, professional services, nonprofit organizations, retail, independent schools, and closely held companies.
Prior to joining Innovative CPA Group, Patrik held audit roles at CLA and BDO, where he managed assurance engagements for emerging and middle-market businesses. As Director of Audit, he leads the firm’s audit practice, focusing on quality, consistency, staff development, and process improvements that enhance both the client and employee experience.
Patrik works closely with business owners, executives, boards of directors, and accounting teams to provide audit, review, and attestation services, while advising clients on complex accounting matters, internal controls, acquisitions, and financial reporting. He earned both his Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Sacred Heart University.
