CARES ACT Provider Relief Fund Phase Two Application Deadline is September 13th, 2020

The CARES ACT earmarked $175 Billion in funds to be distributed to hospitals and healthcare providers on the front lines of the coronavirus response. Although the first phase of distributions has come and gone, providers still have until September 13th, 2020 to apply for Phase Two.  

Highlights of Phase Two 

  • Qualified health care service and support providers now have access to relief funds for appropriate expenses, lost revenue due to COVID-19, or to help uninsured Americans get testing and treatment for COVID-19. 
  • Applications are currently open for Phase 2 General Distribution funding for Medicaid, Medicaid managed care, Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), dental providers, and certain Medicare providers. 

Who is Potentially Eligible for Phase Two Funding? 

Care providers who fall under the following categories are potentially eligible for funding: 

  • Billed Medicare fee-for-service 
  • Medicare Part A provider 
  • Billed Medicaid/CHIP programs or managed care plans 
  • Dental Providers 

Application Process 

  1. Determine eligibility 
  2. Validate Tax ID Number 
  3. Apply for Funding 
  4. Receive Payment 
  5. Attest to Payment 
  6. Report on Use of Funds
