August, 2017 – The Innovative CPA Group located in Trumbull, CT, is pleased to announce the addition of Heather M. Hallam.
Having more than 10 years of accounting experience and a strong desire to help clients reach their goals, Hallam will serve individual and corporate clients preparing tax returns, financial statements, compilations reviews and audits, as she continues to further her expertise in ESOP accounting and financial statement preparation to help businesses plan for succession. She will serve as an Accounting Manager.
A graduate of the University of Rhode Island, Hallam continued her education achieving her Master’s in Taxation from the University of New Haven and her Connecticut Certified Public Accounting license. She has formerly served the New Haven firm of Meyers, Harrison and Pia, LLC prior to their merge with Marcum, LLP this past May.
Hallam has extensive knowledge in multi-state tax return preparation as well as providing tax planning and projection services for corporations, partnerships and individuals. She is experienced in researching and applying new tax laws and regulations to minimize tax payments and maximize profitability.
Passionate about her field, Hallam has served as a contributor for several articles published by her former firm as well as a speaker promoting the accounting profession to students at several local universities.
Hallam is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants, where she has served as a cabinet member for their New and Young Professionals Group. She is also a member of the Connecticut Young Professionals Group and Pulse, Greater New Haven Chamber’s Young Professionals group.
She currently resides in Milford.
